WindKraft's 3 bladed airfoil model
targets the
“Low-speed” wind regime

Prototype of this wind turbine
is projected to produce a peak power output
of
2 - 2.3 kWh
with a diameter of approximately 2.8 meters.
It’s a rugged traditional
design with modern innovative features like carbon fiber
blades, winglets,
an aerodynamic boundary layer control feature and the same
automated-computer controls
used on the
WindKraft 1.5 model.

The Hub Locking, Stabilization and Spinner
Mounting Plate.

Increasing efficiency the system is computer controlled and
electro/mechanically
yawed (no steering wind vane).

Initial stainless steel
generator housing is suitable for housing a variety of
“off-the-shelve” generators.

Profile
design for good starting capability at low wind conditions.

Winglets
increase efficiency and reduce noise.

wing plan-form holding platform
for anemometer and wind direction indicator
(wind-vane).
